Blind Embossed Notebooks
Blind embossing is the most popular service we offer for branded notebooks. They are particularly effective because they offer a nice balance between promoting a brand identity without being too dominant. This technique works well on any of the hardback notebooks we offer from Moleskine, Leuchtturm1917 and Castelli.
Technically this is a debossing process as it involves stamping a metal die with the raised artwork into the cover of a notebook to add depth. On the other hand, a ‘true’ embossed notebook would have the design raised up from the material surface. Letterheaded paper or business cards are a typical place you would see this.
More Info and Leadtimes
Metal dies are required for the production of blind embossed notebooks and our prices always include this cost. For a new job (casting a new die) lead times can be 1-2 weeks.
We keep and maintain any dies that we produce for future use. This makes blind embossing a cost effective solution for repeat ordering. This is especially useful for any urgent ordering of a repeat job – if stock availability is good, then we can deliver within 1 week.
As always, if you have an urgent deadline, please make sure to contact us so we can confirm leadtimes and stock.
